Weekend in Dunsborough

We headed to Dunsborough for the weekend for my cousin's wedding. How excitement! I still can't get my head around that she's going to get married.

The ceremony and reception was being held at Dunsborough Broadwater Resort & Spa and most guests had booked accommodation there. The drive down took about 3 1/2 to 4 hours.

We checked in and went into the town to find some lunch.

Looks good doesn't it? We ended up just going to Coles and buying BBQ chicken and salad. Tasty and cheap.

A few others also arrived on Friday so we checked out the beautiful beach behind the resort, swam in the pool, rested up and headed back into the town for a dinner of pizza and fish & chips. It was really great to catch up and share the apartment with Loreen and Felix, who had flown in from London. The last time I saw them was when they first flew to the UK and dropped by Japan. Times flies.

The guys headed out for some night fishing at the Busselton Jetty while we headed to Jez's room to chat.

They didn't end up catching anything (except some shovel-nose shark or something but they threw it back) and Brendon even got up again at 6am to try his luck fishing down at the beach. Crazy boy.
