I love those two chinese boys

I know this has nothing to do with Japan, which is the whole point of my blog, but the fact that I found out about it while I was in Japan and that it has brought me much happiness during my time in Japan, warrants it's mention.

I know all of my geek friends out there will be like, "Oh Christine, you are so slow! Them boys were out aaaages ago! Get with the programme already."

Yeah, yeah, yeah. But for those of you who are not familiar with these guys, trust me...you'll fall in love with them too (or rather, think I'm a total lame ass fan of stupidity). Whatever.

Anyways, one night while I was browsing around I came across this site,

www.twochineseboys.blogspot.com

and recognised them from a video Brendon had sent me aaaaages ago. It was the 'I want it that way' clip and yes, I laughed my socks off and that was the end of that.

Now they have this English site set up and it has even more examples of their lip-syncing awesome-ness. Basically they're two college guys in China lip-syncing songs in front of their computer webcams. Such a simple and random idea but it works and they're freakin' hilarious. They seem pretty popular too, even all around the world.

Their facial expressions and dance moves make me laugh out loud in my small, quiet apartment. They keep me amused for ages, which is quite disturbing. How they can maintain such serious faces throughout it is skill, and the randoms in the background (playing CS or watching porn) not phased by it at all add to the hilarity. Plus the fact that in some of them they are wearing matching outfits - MONEY!

My favourites would have to be the 'Radio in my head' and 'bu de bu ai' ones. I don't understand the songs at all but they are simply gold.

Ok my geek friends - yes I'm way behind, but tell me what the real song titles are and who the real artists are because I like them and want a copy.

I like guys with sexy voices. It's a bonus if they can sing too. It's funny because after watching all the clips I figured those two guys would have homie American English accents (I guess because of all the moves they pull) but I was so surprised when I heard them talk in the bloopers clip - they were speaking hardcore China Chinese mandarin! hahaha

A nameless mate of mine once dated a chinese girl and said he loved it when she would speak mandarin to him, even though he didn't have a clue what she was saying.
"She could have been saying anything, like the alphabet or something but it was such a turn on."
What the?! I guess for me, when I hear mandarin or cantonese especially, it always sounds so harsh and angry, like I'm being told off.

I told Brendon and he was like,
"Oh, so now you like chinese songs aye?"
What is that suppose to mean? I like chinese songs, even if I don't understand them. I even have maybe 1 chinese CD back home, though that Daniel Chan one doesn't count.
"Okay then. When you come back we're going to be listening to Jay Chou. hahaha"
Who the hell is Jay Chou?
Sigh "Nevermind."

Sue Yen thinks I'm obsessed. Her reasoning is because everytime she asks me what I'm doing, it's always...
"Watching dem choinese boys!" hahaha

Enjoy!
